Simulation of Stormwater Management Pond Configurations.
Abstract
Treatment of stormwater in detention facilities is central to stormwater management practice. The performance of these facilities, however, is contingent on the mode of operation and a number of design variables. This chapter investigates the sensitivity of the performance of batch and continuous plug flow (PF) operation modes to variations in these design variables on a fractional removal and exceedance basis for fecal conforms (FC) and suspended solids (SS).
