The International Conference on the Sustainable Carbon Neutrality in Smart Urban was held on August 2, 2024, hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam. The goal of the conference was to bring together civil engineering and architecture researchers in Vietnam and around the world to share and discuss the latest scientific and technical advances in the fields of Sustainable Carbon Neutrality in Smart Urban, contributing to building better cities and urban areas for a net-zero carbon future. The high-quality papers in the field of Environmental and Water Resources were invited to submit their papers for publication in the Journal of Water Management Modeling.

All special issue papers will be published following the JWMM double-anonymized peer review process. The following editors have been selected for this special issue:
