HYDRO-2025, the 30
th International Conference on Hydraulic Engineering, will be hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela), Odisha, India, under the aegis of the Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH), Pune, December 18–20, 2025. The conference aims to provide a platform for water resources professionals, academicians, scientists, young researchers, practitioners, and consultants to discuss and share their ideas, with a focus on recent advancements in hydraulics, hydrology, water resources, and coastal engineering. Established in 1992, the Indian Society for Hydraulics is a technical, educational, non-profiteering national organization that serves as a common platform for professionals in hydraulics and allied fields, and actively promotes knowledge exchange through conferences, seminars, and symposiums. The National Institute of Technology Rourkela, formerly known as Regional Engineering College Rourkela, is a premier publicly funded institute of higher learning in engineering, science, and technology, located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India, and is ranked 13th among Indian engineering universities in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.
