The 1^st International Conference on Advances in Water Resources, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering and the Centre of Excellence in Water Management at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India, will be focused on the theme of "Transforming Water Resources Engineering for a Sustainable Future". The three-day conference will bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss current innovations and urgent needs of the hour. It will be an excellent platform for sharing ideas and exploring potential collaborations to develop sustainable water management practices.

All special issue papers will be published following the JWMM double-anonymized peer review process. The following editors have been selected for this special issue:
